ACCIDENTAL GRACE - AN ARTISTIC COLLABORATION
Accidental Grace is Raymond Hayden's sixth solo effort to date and will be released in a unique way. After the release of the album itself on November 23rd, 2019, the songs will be released separately in three phases:
Phase one will involve a collaboration with nine different visual artists. Each artist has been given a different song from the album and tasked with creating art inspired from their specific song.
Phase two will involve a collaboration with nine different music artists. Each artist has been given a different song from the album and tasked with contributing their musical gifts inspired from their specific song over top of the existing piano.
Phase three will involve, European Grammy Winning saxophonist, Paul Sawtelle, re-recording the album with saxophone added over top of the piano and then re-releasing it under his own brand.
The goal is to demonstrate the collaborative way in which artists work together to connect with one another and the beautiful world in which we live. The hope is that by showing how we work together, we can inspire our fellow humans to contribute to the conversation rather than judge, attack or go on the offensive.
When we truly listen, we are able to gain a better understanding of what our brothers and sisters may be going through and the narrative begins to change…we begin to change…and, if even by mere accident, grace fills our hearts and we re-ignite the power of love, hope and forgiveness.
